Our Story

A Spanish house in the heart of the Triple Frontier.

"Que Viva España grows from a simple story: a family who refused to drink Spain only on visits home. For years we've been importing straight from the wineries, dehesas and mills we know by name, and today we share that table in Ciudad del Este."

A bridge between two shores

Lleida

Roots in inland Catalonia

We grew up between the vineyards of Costers del Segre and the family wineries of Priorat. There we learned a wine is told with your hands and the land.

The family

A table that never dims

Sundays of rice, pan con tomate and knife-cut ham. We learned Spain is shared, not explained.

2015

The Spain–Paraguay bridge

We brought the first cases home for friends. The waiting list grew faster than shipments, and we knew a house had to be built.

2018

Direct import, no middlemen

We signed with twelve wineries and five charcuterie and cheese makers. Every bottle and every piece travels with a name.

Today

Boutique in Ciudad del Este

We opened our doors so Paraguay and Brazil could meet in a glass. The family is still behind the counter.

Our inspiration

In the tradition of Spain's great wine merchants

We look to Vila Viniteca, Lavinia and the small neighbourhood shops that have cared for every label for decades. We aim to be the Spanish house of the Triple Frontier: rigorous in selection, generous with time, honest on price.
